Introduction to Competence by Design (2021)

On November 14 2021 I launched the “Learning Suite” for the Postgraduate Medical Education / Competency Based Medical Education department.

As part of this, I took a Introduction to Competence by Design course that had traditionally been running on McMaster’s learning managment system (LMS) and made it widely accessible via a custom web portal. The unviersity LMS does not allow people with McMaster IDs to access content, so this move allowed our partner institute to access the content.

Course Summary

This activity is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and approved by McMaster University, Continuing Health Sciences Education Program on March 29, 2019.
